A escolha profissional no Enem: entre o ideal e as imposições do real

Resumo

Estudo realizado sobre a escolha da profissão no Exame Nacional
do Ensino Médio (ENEM), metodologia que substitui o vestibular
tradicional das Universidades Federais no Brasil desde 2009. Analisa os determinantes sociais, econômicos e políticos que contribuem para a escolha dos jovens ingressantes do curso de Pedagogia da Universidade Federal do Maranhão (UFMA). Analisa a adequação dos projetos de vida dos alunos com a real oportunidade de ingresso na UFMA e os impactos desta escolha profissional na subjetividade de cada um. Em conformidade com a metodologia histórico-dialética, o estudo analisa as  transformações econômicas e sociais decorrentes da reestruturação produtiva da década de 1970; examina os reflexos dessas mudanças na legislação educacional brasileira até a criação do ENEM, enquanto metodologia de avaliação do Ensino Médio, e sua reformulação para servir como exame nacional para o ingresso nas Universidades Federais Brasileiras; relaciona-se esta adequação como estratégia do sistema capitalista para reproduzir o antagonismo entre as classes e, por fim, destaca as impressões e o papel do sujeito na escolha de seu futuro
profissional diante do ENEM.

ABSTRACT


Study performed about the choice of profession at the National High School Exam (ENEM), a methodology that replaces the traditional entrance exam of Federal Universities in Brazil since 2009. It examines the social, economic and political determinants that contribute to the choice of entering young people of the Pedagogy course the Federal University of Maranhão (UFMA). It reviews the adequacy of the life projects of the students with the real entry opportunity to UFMA and the impacts of this career choice in the subjectivity of each. In accordance with the historical and dialectical methodology, the study begins by analyzing the economic and social changes resulting from the restructuring process of the 1970s;it examines the consequences of these changes in the Brazilian educational legislation until the creation of ENEM while assessment methodology of high school, and
its reformulation to serve as a national examination for entry to the Federal Brazilian Universities. It is related to this suitability as a strategy of the capitalist system to reproduce the antagonism between classes. Highlights finally, impressions and the role of the subject in choosing their future career front the National High School Exam.
