CARTOGRAFIA SOCIAL: o estudo da cartografia social como perspectiva contemporânea da Geografia

Resumo


Com o presente texto busca-se tratar da importância de integrar o conhecimento da cartografia social às escolas da educação básica no Brasil. Este estudo foi construído a partir de um paralelo entre a cartografia social e a cartografia dita oficial, o que se deu por meio de fontes bibliográficas e da experiência de pesquisa no âmbito do Projeto Nova Cartografia Social da Amazônia, especialmente das pesquisas desenvolvidas no território quilombola de Camaputiua, no município de Cajari-MA. Para chegar à concepção de cartografia social como campo de possibilidade a ser implementada nas escolas de ensino básico, foi necessário um breve retrospecto sobre as escolas geográficas que alicerçaram este conhecimento. Assim, evidenciou-se que a cartografia social contradiz a cartografia oficial, especialmente no que concerne aos procedimentos metodológicos na construção dos mapas.

SOCIAL CARTOGRAPHY: the study of social cartography as a contemporary perspective of Geography

ABSTRACT
This text is an interpretive effort of social cartography as knowledge that has been inserted into the basic education schools. This is analyzed from a parallel with said official cartography. This study is constructed from literature sources and research experience under the Project New Social Cartography of Amazon, especially the research developed in the quilombo territory of the municipality of Camaputiua Cajari-MA. To get to the concept of social cartography as possible from their methodological procedures to be implemented in primary schools field, a brief review of the cartographic schools that underpinned knowledge was necessary. Thus, social cartography contradicts the official cartography especially concerning the methodological procedures in the construction of maps.

RESUMEN
Este texto es un esfuerzo interpretativo de la cartografía social como conocimiento de que se ha insertado en las escuelas de educación básica. Esto se analiza desde una línea paralela con dicha cartografía oficial. Este estudio se construye a partir de fuentes bibliográficas y experiencia de investigación en el marco del Proyecto de Cartografía Social de Nueva Amazonía, especialmente la investigación desarrollada en el territorio quilombo del municipio de Camaputiua Cajari-MA. Para llegar al concepto de cartografía social como sea posible de sus procedimientos metodológicos que se aplicará en las escuelas de campo primaria, una breve reseña de las escuelas cartográficas que han sustentado el conocimiento era necesario. Por lo tanto, cartografía social contradice la cartografía oficial especialmente con respecto a los procedimientos metodológicos en la construcción de mapas.
